A disappointing loss for our Midweek Team once again to Oughtibridge who once again fielded a strong side and took the match very seriously which was frustrating to say the least.

Oughtibridge set just under 150 with Jack Behrens taking his first ever Shelley wicket before Ellis Mellor was threatened by a member of the opposition for no apparent reason. Shelley’s chase failed despite Greg Alexander’s best efforts with Oughtibridge getting the award for the most boring set of lads the game have cricket have ever seen.

Hopefully we can get some well deserved revenge on them next time out!
